About Myself :


I started riding at the age of 6.My interest in horses was nurtured by my father who was a jockey at the Penang Turf Club.My first riding experience was at my uncle's polo stable in Ipoh . I rode there for several years.


The Perak Pony Club was my first step into the equestrian field.After my secondary education,I was offered sponsorship under the Equine Industry Development Project to work at the Perak Turf Club Equestrian Centre.I improved on my riding skills under my coach and was encouraged to take part in competitions to gain exposure.

I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from the Perak Turf Club Equestrian Centre.However ,having said that , I felt that to go even further in the equestrian field,I had to go out and gain even more knowledge in the area of coaching and training.

I have now returned to the Perak Turf Club Equestrian Centre and am employed as a riding instructor.I will be sitting for my Introductary Coaching exam this year and will hopefully complete my Level 1 course next year.

The horse that I am presently riding for competitions is Super Jogger who is an ex race horse that has been under my training since I first started at the equestrian centre.He is 11 years old and is able to jump at a height of 1.25cm.I am presently training 2 newly retired race horses and hope that they are both will achieve teh same success or even go further than taht I have with Super Jogger.

Andika Jamaludin bin Baharudin

Andika Jamaludin aka Andy among friends was born on the 7th October 1985 in Indonesia.He is currently riding at 3Q Equestrian Centre, Kuang and a very competitive rider in Malaysia.
